By combining 'basic stitches' and 'combination stitches' you create smocking designs. As you can image there are a number of variations.
The list below is a collection of original designs that you are free to copy and use in your smocking projects. Remember you should change the colours of your thread to suit your fabric. You can also vary the stitches if you wish. Be creative, experiment and enjoy your smocking.
